Friends 6/10/2002
I've been hanging out a little bit with my friends. They all work together at McDonalds, so they see of a lot of each other. Their schedules are crazy, since a bunch of them help pay for their own tuitions. I see them one or twice a week, which is nice. Last week I went to go and see my h.s. friend Joan perform in the spring concert.
That day, Panama and I went to Target so she could get a b'day present for her friend. When she got to the cashier, she realized she didn't have her credit card, so it was a bit of a waste. Funny though. We got dinner at Burger King (ick...not a fan of fast food) and then headed off to Angel's house to hang out. We all went to the concert from there. I felt kinds bad because her family was in the middle of having dinner, but anyway...we all trekked over to the high school (shudder) and listened to everyone sing and whatnot. I wish I had a singing voice. :o(
Out of my little group of friends, I've been hanging out with Pan the most. This is largely in part due to the fact that our jobs haven't started yet. I've been seeing a lot of movies with Panama. Anyway, Insomnia was good and Unfaithful sucked. Unfaithful was a soft pornography with a stupid plot. Woman cheats on husband. Woman has some seriously kinky sex with lover (hallways..bathrooms, you name it), husband finds out, husband kills lover, husband gets caught by cops. Eh.
Movies and concerts are fun, but I'd love t go to a bar or go clubbing. The problem is with bars is that they actually check your IDs on L.I. My fake would never get through, and my other friends don't have fakes, so that's out. Plus, a lot of them don't like drinking, which would be a serious issue if we're going to go to a bar. Some of my friends have warmed up to the idea of clubbing; planning a night out where everyone has off from work, and finding a decent club is the hard part.
::Sigh:: Definitely looking forward to the college-friendly bars in Binghamton...
