Diana 11/4/2001

I love my friend Diana. There's just nothing else I can say. I was feeling terrible about the whole Justin-Erin thing. Earlier this evening I was goofing around on the computer and I heard a knock on the door. I expected it to be Erin or Dionne. Instead, my friend Diana, who goes to SUNY-Oswego, walks in with one of her friends. I almost fell on the floor. I met Diana last year during my summer art program at Carnegie Mellon and we've kept in touch ever since. We live five hours away, but since we go to school 40 minutes from each other, I've already seen her three times in the past eight weeks or so.

Anyway, so Diana introduces me to her friend Jen, who is an absolute sweetheart. You wouldn't think that Jen and Diana are as nice as they are because they're both stunning beautiful. They're not snobby at all...Anyway, so Jen offers to take me and Diana out to dinner down on Marshall Street. It was just so incredibly awesome. They were just the nicest people in the world to me. It was such a joy to be with people that I didn't have to pretend to have fun with.

Apparently, Jen and Diana were driving around Oswego and Diana had suggested to nake a trip to Syracuse to visit me. So they just popped in. We went to dinner at this awesome Chinese food place on Marshall Street. Starbucks was closed, so we went to Baskin Robbins where I got strawberry cheesecake ice cream on a sugar cone. It probably added six inches to my hips, but I don't care any more. It's not like I have a guy to impress...

It was just a great night. Diana and Jen are both Jewish, and Jen loved the fact that I was too. Apparently, Jews aren't too prevalent in Oswego. I was complaining about how elitist the Jews were up here; if you can't speak Hebrew or you haven't been bat mitvahed (like me) then they want nothing to do with you. We were also talking about our guy problems. I'm honestly shocked that these girls have guy problems. I mean, they're so stunning. I told them about how Justin has had a girlfriend for the past two years and made it abundantly clear to me that he was totally loyal to her. Yet, Erin comes along, and all of a sudden, his view points that he had before are starting to fade.

Tonight, when the three of us came back from dinner, I knocked on Erin's door so I could introduce them to Erin. Justin's lying on Erin's floor next to her bed like a little puppy. If I hadn't been having such a good time, I would have cried. Justin just walked past my door and he didn't even come in to say hi. But he practically lives in Erin's room...Boy oh boy, when he didn't have any friends on this floor, he talked to me constantly. I introduce him to a few people and BOOM! He's gone. Fuck ARTIST...Who needs her? Aaarrrgghhh. Fuck it. I had a good time tonight. Jen told me she loved hanging out with me and that I was sweet. See world? See Justin? I'm sweet. I'm fun to hang around. Jen and Diana said so. So fuck you and the rest of Syracuse for making me feel bad. ::nods:: I feel better.
