Sports vs. Smarts 5/11/2001
From this entry forward, I've decided to just not mention MJ. He's being a real [expletive]. He used to be cool in the beginning of the year, but it was all downhill from there. He's become such a little player... I seem to attract those types; or maybe, they just attract me. I have a friend, Hilary, who's tall, and skinny, and red-headed (I wish I had red hair...I think it's so pretty), and she's awesome at every sport. The two of them flirt and grab each other like you would not believe. It's all very juvenile, but it stil kind of stings. (In case you haven't noticed, "juvenile" is my new word...I go through phases like this, using words constantly, and then one day, I just never use them again.)
The reason I mentioned that Hilary was into sports bceause honestly, I would rather be athletic than smart. I mean, look at the average amount for a merit scholarship, and then look at the average amount for a sports scholarship. Look at the salaries of all the big sports stars, and then look at what a researcher makes. With sports, you have a much better oppurtunity to make friends and things, while school is kind of a solitary thing. I'm not really complaining, because I know several people who aren't smart or athletic, but I just kind of wish I could pick some of my qualities instead of having them being given to me. It seems that I can do AP Biology, chemistry, or basically any subject without breaking a sweat, but I can't dribble a ball, play badminton, or serve a volleyball to save my life. Anyway, I've gotten totaly off topic. MJ is a jerk, wh likes to play with people's heads. One minute he's all over me, the next he's all over Hilary, or Bernadette. I could really use a Joe or a Hottie right about now... (It's a joke from my previous entry, in case you didn't get it.)
My AP exams went ok I guess. I'm hoping for a 3 on all of them at least. If I do get a 3 on all of them, I get to walk into Syracuse with 26 credits. I can place out of freshman English and social studies classes, KI get preference in dorms and class registration...yeah 3's would be nice. AP Biology is this Wednesday, so I'll be studying for most of the weekend. (joy). I'll write more after my exams, I've been up for eighteen hours and it's catching up to me.
