Making New Revelations

You won’t stare at me
You won’t aggitate;
You won’t let me bleed
And won’t let my heart ache.

All the passings of grace,
All the favorites erased;
Your side-worn satchel swinging,
Tapping your hip in place.

Hand in hand, fingers entwined,
Now the mess is gone,
The path outlined
The way home’s not long.

Your cheeks a shade of pale,
But lips still in color –
Still close to The Grail,
Left without your mother.

Raining now,
Those tears your flow;
Showing how
To love those you know.

It’s obvious why
You’re still here –
The love you have
Is ever-presently clear.

Take a look around
Take in the air;
Stop a whispered sound
Affix your loving stare.
