Left Untold

I feel his reprimand
Creeping through your eyes –
Behind the vacancy
Of his child-born lies.

In sync and runnning
These thoughts still do flow;
A blink of cunning
Lets these emotions go.

I need to recite
The poems of this place –
I need to invite
Your hands ‘round my face.

In certainty I do know
Of the sacrifice you’ve made –
In sanctity you’ll grow
From the grasp you’ve laid.

Behind closed doors
Is where all is told –
From sun, from moon,
Our story’s untold.
