The Blocks That Fall

The blocks that fall
Bring trouble to you
Holding back the outpour
That must ensue.

Breaking ranks
From other problems in line,
Your frozen tongue trembles
From your molested mind.

Now far away
From the words that flow
Your breath has been taken
Replaced with silence to show.

To feel again
Would be like rain in the heat;
Quenching your thirst
And your burning feet.

With your heart on your sleeve
You will surely prevail –
Push away all the blocks
And surprise yourself pale.
