Broken Circles

In silent reverie
I sit and wait
For mounting circumstance
To overtake.

To breathe.
To see.
And feel around
Is a blessing in itself
That few have found.

In spirit I flee
From the hauntings that creep
The fixtures of sanctity
That follow my sleep.
In being of light
I see the gremlin within –
The mark of you;
The mark of your sin.

In Time and passing
of Time we’ll see
If you overcome those fears
That you keep from me.

Whether insurmountable or with ease
We’ll definintely overcome
The sanctions in place
By those up above.

Sheering
And fearing
The words not spoken;
Passed from memory
The circle is broken.
