shattered.

shattered, open and convoluted.
testing the days with fleshed writings.
you, once caring and understanding,
gone, tattering the bunting of my covenant lands;
where were you when fires set blazing my hands?
where were you hiding while darkness overcame bands?

flattering wounds mark my inner being –
can you see them gaping, flowing freely
from within the ancient seeds of my soul?

by the riverside we watched waning suns
and growing moons fluourish
while our friendship gained interest
from within and abroad – now shattered?
or just rebuilding?
