Heart to Soul

Some day the words of ajoinment
Will pass the sweet lips I claim.
Happiness will kiss me with
Soft, brown eyes peering back at me.
  Absolution will persue
And I can share my soul with her.

I dream of the days to come
And long for the nights of companionship
When I can release myself into her head
So that she may share forever in my life.
I can wish only that one day it will be so.
  God will press us closer
  And we will continue forward.

Amazed at the consciousness within –
I find, ever deeper, her soul to defend.
