It was driving me absolutely insane. I write about every single first date, right? How is it that I couldn’t find the RAD that I did when I went out with AA (see previous entry). So. I went through what seemed like my whole entire PB up until the time that I got my pup. I knew we’d gone on a dog walking date because I did remember that part.
Turns out, I DID do a RAD on the dude (from previous entry) waaaaayyyyy back when. I finally found it! Here’s the RAD that I did way back on March 18th, 2015!
What was UP with being so critical about his clothes? And the fact that he was soft spoken?! I’m pretty sure I was simply looking for excuses not to like the guy. Pretty sure this was during the Bulldog infatuation and I was not into even pretending to like anyone else.
And sure, a lot can change in over two years: your taste in clothes (doesn’t hurt that the last woman he dated owns a very sophisticated apparel company), your opinion (okay, mine). Just. Lots.
Regardless, I’m so glad that AA (or LT…whatever) reached back out after all this time and that I was open to meeting him out again. It was SUCH a wonderful surprise.
I’m not sure what will happen. He did text me a couple of times yesterday, but no request to hang out again. If nothing else, it has opened my eyes to the possibility that people may not always be quite who you think they are. A lot of it depends on timing and your own attitude.
