What a week. What a week!!!
And it’s not over yet. Gotta get through today. Some things of note:

Negative C. has gone all uber negative again, and I have a meeting with her and boss in a few minutes. I want to punch her in the face half the time and so does my boss. How on earth does an underling hold this whole team hostage? It’s amazing but she does. She’s a smart woman.

And it’s already started: the new owners are going to come in and see who is in the right spot and who is not and my guess is do a sweep. I get that, but I fear it’s going to get way ugly. Uglier than it is right now. And I also know who will claw and push people under the bus: Boss, Neg. C. , my engineer guy (can’t remember what I named him), Old Boss, Brown Nosey to name a few.

I wish I could just ignore this stuff, but that’s not how corporate life works. I found myself thinking this morning in the shower about how I would love a job where I could just make stuff with my bare hands. Wouldn’t it be lovely to produce works of art and be able to make a living that way? What a dream…

I kind of need to do something in the middle. I’m still working on getting this side gig with the other company, but I need to get more aggressive about it. Just got so damn busy with emergencies this week that my head wasn’t in it.

Enough about WORK! It’s boring!!! But again, this is my therapy and I need to get it out.
Weekend is coming! I got so tangled up with work this week that I haven’t really thought about what I’m going to do this weekend. So far my plans are this:

Finish the Italy story. :)

Draw up plans and options for the wine portion of my trip to Argentina

Create some similar plans for a possible road trip for my birthday (in October)

Make rezzies at the Boneyard in Las Vegas to see all of the old neon signs!

Drum up some thoughts on Side Hustle and execute them!

ORGANIZE at home - remember when I went all Marie Kondo about a year and 1/2 ago? It’s time to tap back into my inner Kondo.

Take myself out to dinner Saturday night? Sad that I have no dates lately, eh?
