A Meeting of the Sisters! in A New Beginning

I’ve written here before about my two older sisters who can never seem to get along with each other for long. (It’s not that they fight....they will exchange a scant few words and then not see or speak to each other for months.) Well, yesterday I went out to lunch with Carol and said, “Sandy is still hoping you’ll go to the beach with us this summer.” For once, she didn’t say anything negative right away!
She said, “Well, I don’t think I can do our beach at Lewes like we did last summer; it’s too hard for me to do that walking.”
Then she added that she and her daughter Stef had been going to go to Rehoboth Beach last week and walk on the boardwalk, but then Carol got sick. I jumped on that! “Well me, you, and Sandy can go and walk on the boardwalk!!!!” I said joyfully. She didn’t say nay, so I added, “We could do that next week!”
Today when Sandy and I got together, I told her about it and she thought it was a fine idea.
Then later in the morning, after Sandy and I went our own ways, Carol and Sandy bumped into each other at the grocery store AND IT WENT FINE! Oh, sing, dance, and shout hallelujah! We will be back to doing some Three Sisters things again! That will simplify my life, once school starts up again and I’m back to only having the weekends to do things on.

I am really excited because I seem to be rejoining mine and Joe’s civilization more. See, we are both Wiccan; we both are members of a large tradition of covens called The Assembly of the Sacred Wheel. He’s been a member for ten or so years and I’ve been there longer. When I started having pain troubles with my spinal issues, PLUS was getting fed up with the way my coven was being run, I asked for, and went, on solitary status. And I hardly attended anything for about a year and a half. I just went to the big things, but none of the small events.

Well I suddenly feel renewed enthusiasm. I suddenly WANT to attend things. I really FEEL like going back to being an active, integral part of things again. MY SLUMBER IS PAST! :o)

I got a few new friends here on PB too. And that increases my enthusiasm for writing here, even though I had already been enjoying it.

Now it’s on to supper and evening! :o)
