So hiiii. I’m alive!
The other night I actually typed Open Diary into my browser and then had a confused moment when nothing loaded. And then I remembered I had another diary but couldnt think of the name of the site so I googled it. And here I am! And there still seems to be a lot of my old bookmarks here, which surprised me. Do you remember me?
This is certainly not Open Diary, but I want to give it another go.
So whats new? Martin and I bought a house! We’ve been together nearly 8 years! And our biggest achievement has to be this lovely house which took so much saving and hard graft. I was not prepared for all the bills and monthly expense, but it is totally worth it and we will get by. Martin has been a star in doing all the decorating and making it nice for us.
The next step is an engagement. And I hint alllll the time! It will happen, we’re just getting ourselves back on our feet after buying the house. So i dont think it will happen this year.
We both have the same jobs. Martin is doing really well, but im having a phase where im not really enjoying mine at the moment. Its a male dominated office. I am the only female, so at times I dont feel part of their guy clique. I doubt myself a lot and think im doing everything wrong. I am tempted to start looking for another job. I never thought I would stay there forever and I havent used my law degree yet!
Lets see if anyone comments on this....it’s been three years…
