Sudden wealth is not always a good thing.
You hear the stories -
the lottery winner who ends up worse off than before he won anything,
the multi-million dollar athlete who files for bankruptcy,
the movie star who loses it all from a combination of a series of ridiculous purchases and poor financial advice.

They weren’t careful.
They didn’t plan.
They squandered their windfalls.
Not me.

Knowing that it’s going to happen to me, I have been preparing.
I have plans.
My wealth is not going to come and go in a flash of stupidity.
My wealth is going to sustain me and mine for the rest of my life because
I know that fabulous wealth now doesn’t mean unlimited wealth forever.

I have planned,
rationally,
extensively,
most of all
obsessively.
