so this saturday right
I went to starbucks to complete the star dash. The kind of goals I can actually accomplish. But focus.
When we went back to the car I saw this random card in the empty space beside us. I picked it up and saw it was a gas station gift card.
I thought hm… someone probably just forgot this since it’s empty. But I’ll check to make sure there’s no money on it. Lol probably like 23 cents.
So I got home and checked it online.
There is a lot of money on there.
WTF. DO. I. DO.
UPDATE
they are absolutely still using this card, i think they have the number so they’re good XD
Update
Took it to the gas station down the street from the Starbucks where I found it. Girl who was the cashier seemed confused but I just handed it to her, said “I found this,” and left. She was like “well, thank you”
Idk man maybe she will just use it for herself, but there was a lot of activity on the card (found it with $177, they had spent $100+ and put $300 on it and… like who spends that much on gas over one weekend?) and plus activity while I had the physical card. So I think better not to get into that, pretty sus all around… What if they used it for drugs or something? Weird.

Take it to one of the gas stations - they should be able to trace who bought it and return it to them.

I just took it to the gas station but didn't feel up to asking them to find anyone. So I just left after giving them the card. Oh well, I feel better now that I don't have it anymore.

is there any info on the back of the card, like a customer service ph#? maybe contact them.
