It's cold again and I thought it would be a great week. Not that it can't be, but my birthday is at the end of the week and I'm still sick with a virus. It robs me of sleep each night and I wake achy and still exhausted. There is something I'm looking forward to but I can't disclose it quite yet. It's exhilarating and stressful because timing is involved.

I bought scratch and sniff cards for Valentine's Day this year. I love sending them because I love celebrating holidays. This time I've calculated the number of stamps I need because I didn't do that well at Christmas, and the shipping for packages was amazing. Many people say that I get my exuberance for the holidays from my aunt. The armoire in my room is draped in felt pink heart garland and my decorated fig tree sports a few heart shaped ornaments.

There is a box containing green shamrock garland for St. Patrick's Day.
