So we’re getting married in the temple next month. Rachel was a little miffed with me when I told her she wouldn’t be able to attend because only certain people are allowed in the temple. I hadn’t even really thought about this as a problem until it came up with her. The only people that will be at our temple wedding will be a few people from our ward. Most people out here we don’t have much of a relationship with since we’re new to the area.

It makes me a little sad because I don’t really like to look at the pics from our original wedding, and the pics from this wedding won’t have my family in them.

Rachel had said she wanted to send us on a nice honeymoon since we hadn’t taken a proper one the first time. She said not only would she pay for it, but she’d watch the kids while we’re gone. I felt super guilty about this because it’s such a big offer, and I’d kind of hoped she would forget.

Then last week she started talking to me about places that I might want to go, and it was awkward to talk about. I really like the idea of going on a nice trip that I wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford, but having her pay for it seems wrong.

She started talking about exotic places and I had to stop her because I don’t have a passport. So then she seemed to focus on Hawaii. I told her I would discuss dates with Jayson, but I’m feeling so guilty about it I’m afraid to bring it up with him.

In other news, I have been doing the exercises that my doctor recommended and not seeing any progress. It’s frustrating because I didn’t expect to see any changes, but she seemed so positive that I would.

A little better with weight loss, I’m not exactly losing a lot of weight, but I’m not gaining. After a year of consistently gaining, it’s a nice change. I like seeing a number below 200 on the scale, even if it’s not much below.
