We have foxes living in the barn. The kit was out yesterday playing with a piece of paper, and I was able to get close enough to snap some pictures. I just kept creeping forward while I was talking to it.
Someone on fb in a Pagan group asked if I’ve named it yet. What do you guys think I should name him/her?

I love foxes oh my too adorable.
I know of one Apache tribe. Trying to remember they would go out into nature, and the first animal that they would see cross their path ... The used the name of said animal...like ya saw a fox the color red fox might be your name.

Hear me out. :) I'm not saying that because of the movie. Foxes are tricksters, right? So I googled 'trickster gods'. You don't know if this kit is a male or female, sooo... "Frequently the trickster figure exhibits gender and form variability. In Norse mythology the mischief-maker is Loki, who is also a shape shifter. Loki also exhibits gender variability, in one case even becoming pregnant. "
