Sick again... in Fresh Start...

I’ve been in bed sick since Friday afternoon. I felt off on Thursday, then woke up Friday with awful chest congestion but went to work anyways. By the time I got home on Friday I was done and I basically only left the bed to shower and use the bathroom. Great 3 day weekend right there… just my luck I know! I went to the Dr yesterday and got meds. Well technically my mom took me because I could barely get around, much less drive. Then I took some of the cough medicine the Dr prescribed me on the way home from the pharmacy and could barely walk by myself. Luckily my dad and the ex hubby have been coming by to take care of the animals and such because I have been so miserable I wanted to die the past few days. I’ve been in a serious nyquil coma. Bronchitis is soooo much fun… the coughing is bad enough, but every time I cough it causes severe SI joint pain. But after taking my antibiotic and steroids yesterday I’m feeling better.

The ex hubby came up last night but it was late… I was really groggy so I vaguely remember trying to tell him who had been fed etc. I was too zonked out on cough medicine. But he was staying the night so that he could take the dogs for their heartworm prevention shots this morning. He’s on his way back from that, then he’s going to get pizza.

On the only upside… I’ve lost like 5 more lbs since my Dr visit just over a month ago. I’m not sure how but I’ll take it.

I’m just really sick of being sick. And when I’m this sick I’m incapable of keeping my house remotely clean which doesn’t help.
