Well, I couldn’t entirely leave the site alone. I had SEO (search engine optimization) on my mind. Since https://www.prosebox.net has three years of history attached to it, it seemed kind of silly to risk throwing that away just for some shiny dot-com domain. Plus some of you lovely people are blocked on the new domain at work.
So rather than splitting things in two and confusing the search engines, I have opted to have the .com now redirect back to .net. People are always typing .com out of habit, and it will still get you here. So if you notice yourself back on .net, that’s why.

How does one search for a particular diarist? When I type a diarist name into the search option the page never loads for me. I'm browsing the site on my iPhone

I never even knew it was .net. Either I search for the site via Google, or the address pops up automatically from history. lol Facepalm!

I hope this will show up and I don't mess it up. But use the "Direct" URL from photobucket and copy it.
When you go to place it into your entry, do (hopefully this will show up)
! [ ] ( ) no spaces and place your URL in the parenthesis.
If it doesn't show up, it should be "Exclamation mark" "Set of brackets" "set of parenthesis" with the URL in the parenthesis.

And it's procrastination that comes out on top again! I had been meaning to bookmark the .com page for a few days now, and hadn't gotten around to it. Now I just don't have to! Right? LOL! So many things seem to happen that way in my life! One day it's gonna bite me in the ass.... ha.

That makes sense! Personally, I like .net . It's retro and technically we are a network of people. Does anyone have .org anymore? Besides Wikipedia?
I feel like I just aged myself here. I remember the "See you on the net!" videos when netscape launched. Now I REALLY feel old.

The .com is really good to have because people remember "prosebox", but there's a natural tendency to just type ".com" if you don't remember it's .net. So now you can get here both ways, fewer people getting lost.
