Another decent day. Got some shit done and even got another mid-day nap in. Wish the days could all be so mellow…but maybe with a little bit of spice added in there? ;)
Finished cleaning up the mess I made yesterday and did a little bit of Christmas decorating, but I’m still not done.
Chatted a bit with a really cute guy on Tinder, but it turns out he’s visiting his mom for the holiday. I told him that it was a bummer, but he told me that he could be here (my city) any time he wants. Well, that piqued my interest, so we chatted some more. Turns out, he’s actually busy opening 5 (FIVE!) medical marijuana facilities in his state, so he’s gonna be a busy guy for a while. Gave me all kinds of details, which I found interesting. I’m not a consumer (and I told him so), but said that if the medicinal side could help people then I’m totally on board.
Then he asked me about myself, and of course, when I gave him a little bit of detail, he disappeared! Is a never-married, kid-free woman who loves Champagne really so scary? I don’t GET IT!?!?! Do people read that as “crazy woman”? What gives?
Then, there was a guy I accidentally swiped right on and we matched. He wrote to me several times today and I didn’t answer because I was kind of trying to think about how to answer. After maybe 15 minutes, he wrote, “I hope you didn’t accidentally swipe right when you meant to swipe left!”
And that kind of freaked me out. Still never answered!
NOT looking forward to tomorrow. But it will get here soon enough. I had a nice few days and am not sorry that I napped so much. I made a giant pot of tortilla soup, so I have that to look forward to.
Life is fine today. Let’s hope for a fine tomorrow…
