I crawled into bed at a little after 8 to do my usual cruising the internet and writing of my November entry-a-day. I ended up in the bed in such a way that the dog lay down on my chest (she’s teeny tiny) so we could play and cuddle a little, and I immediately fell asleep! At a little after 8pm.
I woke a couple of times, thinking about how I need to get up and write my entry for today, but the dog was sleeping on and around my legs and I didn’t want to disturb her!
Finally, I woke up and needed to use the bathroom, so that’s how I got her to move. Got up and now I’m with my laptop, tapping away!
Not fully awake, I’ll probably go right back to sleep and then wake up at 2 and not fall back to sleep. Typical.
Anyway, another weird day at the office. Boss is so weird. I don’t think he’s coming into the office tomorrow - which is typical. I never know when that guy is in or out - he comes and goes as he pleases…which is fine. But whatever. It’s an early out day. Still, I have issues with my celebrity and inventor folks. If it isn’t one big wig, it’s another. I’m determined to leave at 3 when we are “released”.
A few bites on Tinder today. One, a very cute man who asked me why I look like I’m in my 20s. Flattery will get you everywhere, my man…and then he disappeared.
Other was the Tinder dude who called me a few times and gave up with the phone tag and we went back to texting. But in typical Tinder fashion, the guy won’t make a plan and keeps be-bopping all over the world and coming back to town. He keeps telling me where he’s going and comes back and says hi…but he’s only in town for like a day. Fuck that. Make a plan.
Anywho. I’ve never had such a ho-hum November! I’m normally doing some kind of major travel to China and I guess that’s what makes my NoJoMos hopping with juicy details. Wish I had more, but at least I’m getting some sleep! :) No jet lag for this girl.
So, I’ve got the move on my mind, and I want to be thinking of something that I can do on the side since my day job is sucking the creativity out of me (even though a big part of my job is design…that’s beside the point). I ran into a woman the other day at the open studios tour who was telling me about some corporate lawyer dude or some such who makes leather handbags on the side! Whaaaattt? I need to be doing something like this between working my long hours, trying to fit in the gym and moving…right?
Need motivation.
But need sleep more.
