I reluctantly left open diary, after 10+ years because the site hasn't been working. Recently (well somewhat recently) I came upon a diary of a young girl fighting a battle against brain cancer. She is one of the few people I still return to the site to check up on/ follow. I became intrigued by her story and began following her on twitter and facebook and read back through her entries from years before I first became aware of her. Sadly, she passed away today at only 26 years of age. Although her situation seemed dire, she was always full of life, inspiration, wit, and courage. I never had the pleasure of meeting her in person, and although I am probably no more than another person following her story, I will deeply miss her and am very sad that I wont be able to log on and follow her in her journey.
