11.6 Week End. in These Foolish Things

Sunday afternoon. Almost time to head to the airport. Today’s been slow and I probably should have either gotten an earlier flight (but who knew?) or napped or slept later today.
But my friend Jane wanted to meet for breakfast kind of early, which didn’t really seem all that early since the time changed. So we met at 9am and had a wonderful breakfast…the others had either left town already or were too tired to join us for brekkie/brunch, so fine. She and I had a lovely time and talked about everyone else! Ha…nothing bad…just stuff we know since we’d last seen each other.
Crazy x-roomie and I had a fine time yesterday. We kept things very light and superficial and more about the “good old days” rather than WTF happened between us and why we had a rift and breakdown in communications. Of course, the other two buddies wanted to know why, when, where, how…so they did some snooping, but it appears that x-roomie got mad at me and severed ties around the time of her wedding, which I did not attend. I believe that the not attending was the straw that broke the camel’s back for her.
Anywho. I’ve now boarded the plane and Best Bud is going to pick me up back at home, so I don’t know that I’ll have a chance to post if I don’t post now!! Sorry to cut these entries short! This is what happens when you try to post every freaking day!
