No Treasure Hunt in addressing the public

Spark in your eye
But in also your spirit–
A smile does not have to be won from you.
Given freely,
No treasure hunt,
An open chest from which bursts forth
Your warmth.

No harsher tones
Ascribed to your pigment–
A rounded orb would sooner prick your finger.
Fully buoyant,
No anvil eyes.
Unrelenting time from which we stole
A moment.
