hey, friends.
i haven't been on here in a while. i don't even know how to catch you up.
things are rough. josh is out of work (i can't really say why right now, but it includes an injury). we had to borrow 6 months of mortgage payments from my dad. we were finally approved for some assistance but haven't received it yet. joshua started special education preschool 5 days a week for 2 1/2 hours a day.
things have been hard.
but i'm here to share some of my happy news.
my little salves & balms company is coming along. i now have an etsy shop with product listed (www.etsy.com/shop/sweetdaisysalves ), a matching website (www.sweetdaisyproducts.webs.com), a matching FB page (www.facebook.com/sweetdaisyproducts -- go like it!) and a matching email address. i've mostly only sold on twitter and instagram (to save on etsy fees) so i don't have actual etsy sales though i've sold quite a bit of product. i've been spending time writing up the formulas to seven or so solid products that will complete my line before i move on to adding new things. any little money i've made has gone to food, gas, wood for heat, etc so i have none of the profit available to put towards supplies, so right now i'm stuck with not being able to produce any inventory. i need an investor. i need a few hundred bucks to invest in supplies, labels, packaging. then i'd be set.
but, i did JUST partner up (with one of joshua's old therapists, no less) and she has my stuff on display and for sale in a local salon! that's ridiculously exciting and i can't wait to get the call that something has SOLD!

both kids are sick so i have to get back to getting some of my (homemade) vapor rub salve rubbed on them, loading up the humidifier and getting them to lay down and rest. i suppose i should come back and write soon, i could REALLY use the outlet and support. i miss you all so much!
