Family Life... in 30's

-Jasmine is now done kindergarten, starts grade 1 sept 1st… I’m NOT looking forward to it. I love having her around. She’s such a sweet, thoughtful girl & so helpful <3

-Adam will be 3.5 in 8 days. He’s your typical boy. Very sweet & so caring. He loves to be outside & wants to be outside as much as possible. He’s very funny. Always has us laughing.

-Kassidy is the biggest thing that’s happened since the last time I wrote (whenever that was). Last time I wrote, I wasnt even pregnant with her & now she’s 2 months, 3 months on the 10th. My pregnancy with her was a challenge in some ways. She never moved much & at around 19 weeks, we couldn’t find her heartbeat which panicked us & we had to run into E to get a heartbeat reading with a screen showing she was ok… most of my pregnancy I was so scared for some reason, I’ve never been like that with the other 2, that something was going to happen to her. Thank God nothing ever came of my fears.
The night before she was born, me, mom, dad, & the kiddos spent a night in R. hotel, swimming & waiting for the next day when she’d be born. She was a planned c-section. & other than waiting about an hour longer than scheduled, she was born. Mom & dad stayed up in R. with the kiddos for a couple days then came home while me & Florin waited to go home. My recovery was amazing. Because Kas was my 3rd section I got referred to a specialist who did such a good job. I had very miminal pain. Actually, the hospital bed was worse on my body (so uncomfortable) than the section was. 3rd day (i believe it was) i got released from the hospital & we got to go home.
That night Florin’s parents came to stay, their from AB. The next morning my FIL was on his way back home but my MIL stayed for about a month to help with the kids. Then my SIL came for a few days & took her home.
Kassidy’s such a good baby. Sure she has her grouchy times but we manage & the rest of the time she’s so happy & smiley. The kids love her so much. There’s even been arguments in the car about kassidy not looking at them & looking at their brother/sister instead lol. Kassidy sits in the middle between them.
-Me: I’m doing really good. Some days are easier/harder to manage life with 3 kids but I get through. I will say unfortunately, since Kassidys been born, my social anxiety is higher. I try to manage this by getting in a workout at least 5 times a week which does help. Somedays it’s hard/impossible to get it in but I try. I feel my best when I can accomplish everything: workouts, cleaning the house, cooking meals & taking care of my family. Some people call this “super mom” but I call it being the best me I can be.
-Florin: we didnt really celebrate it but we just had our 10 year anniversary in may. We’d like to go on a tropical vacation to celebrate sometime this winter hopefully. It’s hard to leave the kids but after having Kassidy, I’ve realized that to be the best parents we can be, we need to take care of ourselves & each other. Without a strong united front, everything can come crashing down. Oh, wait this is supposed to be about Florin, not me ;) what’s new in his world? not a darn thing :) still working for the same company, still kicking ass at being an awesome husband & father… some things never change.
