I'm giving myself the gift of 15 extra minutes in the morning to write an entry - not at the office, but at home. I don't know yet if this will work, as it cuts into my sleep/workout/get-ready-for-work routine, but at least I'm gonna try.
Had a phenomenal several days off work, and now that it's the new year, it's back to work, baby! And I'm kinda glad and really bummed at the same time. I like being productive, but I sure like to relax, too.
Yes, as you can probably tell by my recent but not unexpected silence, Sexy Pants and I are back in business (whatever that means). We had a very, very good few weeks, so we'll see where that goes.
But since my time is limited, I thought I'd focus on my 2014 List of Goals. This year, I took to heart this article: 6 Harsh Truths That Will Make You a Better Person. It's tough, and it gave me a lot to think about - maybe that's what I need, not just for myself but for others.
Anyway, here's my list and I'll expound on it later. Maybe in my next entry, maybe not. Giving myself only 15 minutes is not easy!
Here goes:
- Finish decorating the apartment, then have a party!
- Get to my goal weight (hopefully in a way that will inspire/help others)
- Start a unique blog (some ideas, but really rough at this moment)
- Write every day (or at least every work/weekday (hopefully will help my outlook)
- Bonus Goal TBD.
That's it! Yes, it needs work, but that's why they are goals and not necessarily To-Dos. My To-Do lists will come when I expound on each.
