Just life... in Fresh Start...

It’s a fairly busy weekend. Yesterday I spent something like $200 just on animal food. I still need to properly grocery shop for myself, which I despise by the way. But really I think that is mostly because going to a store in prefer is approximately a 25 minute drive and I’m just talking about getting there. Admittedly though, I live kinda in the middle of nowhere by my own choice, so it’s just one of the few downsides. It also sucks because my ex currently has my car, so I’m driving my old pickup that doesn’t have air conditioning currently. It’s a bit too hot and humid to be comfortable without ac.

I also meant to clean yesterday, and I did get a minimal amount done after all the morning shopping, but then I had to take trash to the dump (another downside of living in the middle of nowhere) and from there to my parents house (probably 45 minutes away) so that me and my mom could go buy a fridge to put in the house I’m selling. So we did that and window shopped and went to petsmart as well (part of that $200) and then to Logans for an early dinner. After we went back to my parents house and my dad looked at the ac on my truck and we are going to attempt to recharge the coolant or whatever you call it at some point. Then he wanted me to rub his back and feet. I get it because I’m a pretty decent massage person and I use coconut oil and essential oils that help his pain and stiffness. He also always insists on giving me $20 every time which is nice but definitely not necessary especially considering all he does for me but he won’t take no for an answer.

My birthday is coming up and my mom said my present had already been delivered and it was up to me if I wanted it now or later. I chose now. Now keep in mind that I’m not complaining, I think it was one of her better gift ideas, but you know you’re an adult when you get a bug zapper for your birthday.

Today will be a day of cleaning and catching up on laundry. I put if off because I’ve been sick. At least I have tomorrow off because of the holiday as well. And tonight I’m going out with friends instead of sitting at home. The only problematic part is that it isn’t until 10 o’clock tonight and I woke up at 6am.
