Gold Coast in Adventures in paradise

I left for the Gold Coast last night and went and visited my friend Brent, as I hadn’t seen him in months. I got to see his new car (Suzuki Swift) which he is really proud of and excited about lol. I never thought I’d see him in a Swift, but he’s loving the fuel economy and safety features compared to his old Ford. I couldn’t believe it when he told me he’d traded his Ford in for $3000 though, considering only like a year ago he was wanting to sell it for $10k! :o I would’ve bought it off him for that price! Except that it’s a Ford and I wouldn’t have :P
Anyway, really cool to ride in his new car. He still drives the same so I couldn’t tell much difference really, other than it’s obviously smaller. It even has knee airbags!

Anyway, we only watched one movie this time. “Krampus”, which was basically a demonic Christmas movie lol. As soon as it finished, I was like, “Well that was fucking weird.” We went to bed shortly after and I was coughing a fair bit for some stupid reason. I don’t get it. It goes away for a day or two and then seems to return. Ergh. Brent always sleeps with his stand-fan on full-blast, no matter what season it is, and he also sleeps with a rain-app playing on his phone. Completely the opposite to me who prefers to sleep in complete silence. Sure, it’s nice if the rain is natural outside the bedroom window or on the roof of the house, but I can’t say I’ve ever used a rain app. I mentioned to him that his rain app sounded like a torrential-downpour (which it did!) and he selected one where the water wasn’t quite as heavy lol.
I’d probably piss the bed if I had to listen to water running all night long :P

Anyway, sure enough, I wake up to him giving me a blowjob, which is nothing unusual. It’s actually been quite some time since I’ve had one, well before I fell ill with the flu, so it was actually a good feeling. Unfortunately I took forever to get off because there hadn’t been enough time between orgasms for me to be horny enough. I’ve never really been one of those guys who can just get off and be ready to go again straight away, and that’s suited me fine. So ideally whoever my future boyfriend is would probably have to be similar - ie. Once or maybe twice a day would suffice, except maybe on special occasions like birthdays. My record is actually seven times in one day but I was MUCH younger then LOL. Anyway, he was blowing me for so long that I started to even get bored with and over it. Thankfully I managed to finally cum, as I don’t think he was gonna give up (like he has in the past). I’m not into Brent sexually. We’ve had these kinda awkward conversations in the past, so I can’t get off on knowing he’s doing it to me. My mind has to travel elsewhere. To him it’s just sex. I’m still not completely comfortable with it. Not gonna lie. It is what it is, I guess.

Anyway, he dropped me off at the shopping centre again the next day so that I could catch the train home, but it was such a GORGEOUS day on the Gold Coast today that I simply didn’t want to go home, so I decided to make a day of it. What was I gonna do at home anyway? Sit here and write an entry on my laptop? Like I’m doing now? :D
At least it is nighttime now, and I’m glad I had a bit of a wander around. I’ve done that walk around those areas of the Goldy so many times now, but little things change over time and more buildings and business’ go up and close down etc etc. I was determined to go down to the surf beach and dip my feet in the sand. I didn’t have an annoying bag with me this time. I was wearing my cargo shorts with tons of pockets, so I just had everything shoved in those. I caught a bus from Helensvale to Southport and went for a walk from there to Surfers Paradise. I took a couple of pics with my new phone along the way.

Why thank-you, sidewalk!

The weather was just stunning. There was a very slight breeze that kept me cool as I walked along, and I don’t think it could have been more perfect of a day. If I’m being picky, I only felt a little cold whenever I was in shaded areas, but the sunny ones were perfect. One thing I did forget to bring was my sunnies, and if I had those, things would have been ideal :)

I took a Snapchat of a cute doggie running around near the river, so if you guys have me on Snapchat, you can see that for the next 24 hours or so (“luvncraze” is my username btw).

That little small thing is him lol. I should have zoomed in.

Annnnnd this is where all the rich-bitches live. They get their own sign because they can afford it.

Ducks!

Haha, a terrible selfie (and also Snapchat in response to Kylie sending me a pic of her lunch)

Then I get to the surf and I find the beach is all closed off in both directions! :(

I soon find out they are building a sand-bar/bank?
alt text

Oh, a SandWALL. Must be predicting a tsunami or something.

Luckily there was finally a pathway down to the beach. I could finally dip my toes in the Pacific Ocean again :D That’s Surfer’s Paradise just up ahead.

Back behind me in the direction I’d just walked.

And that appears to be all the pics I took.
I found my way back to the bus station I needed and made my way home. It annoys me that it costs me like $25 just to go down there and back on public transport each time. I saw a sign for car hire there that was only $27 a day. It’s almost cheaper (minus the fuel) to go with that option, and would be a heck of a lot more convenient than waiting and transferring between buses and trains!

I fell asleep on the train on the way home, as I tend to do quite often lol. I wonder how many people notice me drooling away :D

All in all, a pretty good day. I think I got a little sunburned on the back of my neck, but that’s okay. I’m sure I’ll feel it in the shower, which I’m about to take.

Oh man, your photos are making me miss the Gold Coast. I haven't been there since 2009 I think. Although Jaden and I hope to get up there either next year or the year after (he used to live there and his half-brother still does).
See the round shaped hotel in your second last picture? Not sure if it's still called Focus, but it used to be. My parents had their honeymoon in the penthouse there in 1987 LOL!

I wonder about those white noise apps. I love to sleep with my fan on, because it drowns out any random noise from my neighbors that might wake me up.

Great pictures!
