We were getting ready to go out walking today and it started to rain. I thought it would be just a shower and waited for it to stop, but it never did. It’s STILL raining. Such a shame.
Now… the GOOD thing about rainy sunday afternoons is, you can take a nice long nap all cuddled up on the bed with the baby and the cat. Three hours of bliss. The BAD thing is… if you sleep while your baby’s sleeping, you don’t get much done.
After a month and a half of just going to work, daycare and back, I suddenly had two weeks of shockingly intense social life. LOL. It started with sushi at a friend’s house (I took Daniel), then sindicate supper, then my mom over for the weekend, then a stand-up comedy show (I don’t usually like stand up comedy, but this girl was genius), then lunch with an aunt, then condo meeting, then ANOTHER dinner out....
It’s been fun but exhausting! I’m ready for it to stop for a while. I need to be with my kid. Feel like I haven’t paid any attention to him these past two weeks.So this weekend was just for the two of us. We played and hugged and laughed together… but it’s over and it’s back to work tomorrow. And another weirdly socially intense week.
Oh… and he is FINALLY Rolling over!!! Sort of. About time.
