I’m at work, getting a few stolen minutes to write… hope they don’t catch me.
So yesterday was my first mother’s day. Saturday was sweet. Daniel’s day care put on a “show”… the babies “danced” to a song, wearing costumes. It was super cute and sweet and I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Afterwards, they gave their mommies presents. Daniel gave me his footprint in a cast. I swear I drool every time I see it, LOL.
Saturday was great but yesterday was the worst! I dunno why we were all in a terrible mood–me, Daniel and the cat. I was tired and grouchy, Daniel was fussy and grouchy, and the cat was hungry and grouchy. We were getting on each others’ nerves real bad. We even went to a friend’s kids’ baptism and had to leave cos Daniel was acting up so bad. It mostly turned into me dozing off on my stomach on top of the bed and Daniel crying next to me, while the cat whined cos he wanted food. Happy Mother’s Day my ass!
But the day before was nice :).
