I am very fortunate.

Today was hard. I haven’t had any childcare recently (the babysitter is still being really flaky, but she also had pneumonia and was in the hospital… so I can forgive it). I have gotten so behind on my work. I have a few zeroes in the gradebook in various classes, and I got a 58% on a test. I’ve never gotten a score that low before on a test. Ever.

So, I’m feeling pretty down. But the good news is that the lowest score in that class will be dropped at the end of the semester, so I still have a chance. I need to get more time to ask for help. That’s what I need to do. Astronomy is so confusing for me… and I consider myself to be pretty smart. I’m just a mom with a scrambled brain on very little sleep.

My skin is still very broken out. I quit taking that birth control. I need to figure something else out.

I did get two compliments today, which was nice.

I haven’t been able to sleep lately, despite trying. Stress will do that.

I wrecked my car. But we can go pick it up tonight, and I’ll be able to drive again. Thank goodness. It’s really hard not having a car. I didn’t remember it fondly.

I cost us $2,100.

The good news is that my family is healthy, and we are doing well.

I met someone promising. We’ll see.
