Things are looking up.
The sun is out. The weather is getting warmer. That’s enough on its own.
Today is Valentine’s Day and I had a dance party with my kids.
Jacob and I had a date last night that reignited a lot of things in us, I think. We are having good conversations and we are barely fighting anymore. I think the difficult events last month brought us together again and made us realize that we love each other and we can get through just about anything. My head just wasn’t in a good place for awhile.
I’m dating again after taking a break. I had to break it off with someone I liked a lot, and someone also rejected me. That was a new experience.
I’m on birth control. I think I have decided that having two children is enough. Perhaps when they are older, I’ll change my mind, but right now this is what I want.
I’m going to embrace everything and do better.
