Day 6 of the Nature Photography Challenge in The Thoughts of 2016

Here are some more examples of paint.net’s versatility with a fairly humdrum original photo. As an aside, this lovely old willow leans a little bit more every time we get a strong wind through the place. We thought originally (with its pops, creaks, moans and groans) that it was going to fall down in some dramatic fashion one day. Now we suspect it will just keep tipping over, inch by inch as the years go by; sliding into a horizontal position level with the creek.
