Who am I? And why am I here? in Get to know me. I dare you.

Firstly I’m here because Open Diary went away. I was able to download my diary before it ended, but have missed writing there a lot. Was reminded about OD today thanks to the Facebook memory thing, and a bit of research brought me here.
Most important: who am I?
I’m someone who hates the water. Hates swimming. Hates boating. Who very rarely goes into pools, and then NEVER in the deep end. I can swim enough to save my life, but will never do so for recreational purposes. Having water poured or dumped over my head completely freaks me out. When I’m in the shower I have to MAKE myself put my face in the water, and even then it takes a lot of willpower.
I’m someone who always parks my shopping cart in one of those cart corrals in the store parking lot. I figure I can take the time out of my life to keep it from bouncing off of someone’s car. Besides, pushing an empty shopping cart through a parking lot is NEVER the worst part of my day. And if it is: pretty good day.
I’m someone who has insomnia. I rarely sleep more than four hours a night. On the plus side I get lots of reading done. On the minus side there’s rarely something in the house that I haven’t read.
I’m someone who is addicted to Tetris. I should probably find a 12 step program.
I’m someone who likes cheap gas station cappuccino much more than the stuff that they serve at Starbucks.
I’m someone who values entertainment. I own lots of movies and classic tv shows on DVD. An evening of watching The Rockford Files and Scooby Doo trumps most anything else you could invite me to do.
I’m someone who loves going to the movies. The smell of popcorn. The huge screen. The candy. The $8 tub of Sprite. The previews. Even the sticky floors and sugar crash after eating too much junk. If only Hollywood would stop with all the crappy remakes and boring reboots.
I’m someone who doesn’t follow sports. Not even a little bit. I enjoy going to an actual game, and would rather go to a high school game than watch a professional one on TV.
I’m a seatbelt nerd. I ALWAYS buckle up, and insist that others in my cars do the same thing.
