My God that work-week seemed to fly by fast. I guess that happens when I just get stuck into it, which I always do. So the work-weeks do just fly. The manager didn’t even mention the dodgy placement of that display I made, so I guess all is good lol. Not really that big a deal anyway. I just hate fucking things up - like that time I filled all the Melbourne-Cup stock to the shelf because no-one TOLD me it was for the Melbourne Cup :P Luckily I rectified that once I was told phewie.
So Masters is being sold off. I knew that would happen. Bunnings have too strong a hold of the market and the company I work for bought out a lot of the areas that Bunnings initially rejected, so anyone could see that coming. When you’re offering up to 20% off for every customer, things are either going really well or really bad. Ironically, Dick Smith is in administration also, but my work hasn’t been involved in that since 2012, so that’s probably completely different. I hope that one sticks around though. I’ve ended up getting quite a few of my laptops from there over the years, including this one. I’m surprised this old’s holding on. It’s been through the war-zone having a cup of ta go through it and having been dropped on a wooden floor, which damaged the power cable going in. It’s in on an angle these days, but thankfully still charges the battery.

The Australian Open has started! Naturally, I’m watching it. Andrew is back from Sydney, and Alex is back from the Goldy early, and Nick is still down in Melbourne, so I had fun dancing around the house to Kylie completely naked since I had the house to myself on Saturday night :P I did have someone watching me through the back bi-fold doors however. I noticed out turkey friend was back, digging around in the pile of leaves Andrew left out there. He seems to only come around when Andrew isn’t here haha.

I don’t think playing tennis is happening again today, as I haven’t heard from Luke. Granted, I haven’t asked him either, so I’m just doing the boring domestic crap that comes with everyday life today. I’m meeting up with Petey tomorrow night, since he’s visiting from Sweden, so that’s kind of prevented me from going anywhere. Brent’s asked me to come down again tomorrow night, but I doubt it’ll happen unless it’s really late, but I don’t really want to anyway.

I’m very late to the Menulog-wagon. I ordered it for the first time last night because I had a craving for thai food. Anyway, they tell you exactly when it’s going to arrive and the guy rocked up a few minutes early. It was paid for so all I had to do was answer the door and grab it. I tell you what, the thai boy at the door was cute-as-fuck! I actually hesitated with the door open a little longer than necessary because a thought crossed my mind to invite him in! Haha. Of course I didn’t though cos I’m a wuss and he was at work but hey, I’m quite inclined to order thai again next weekend, that’s for sure :D

I freaking love Thai food. Delivered by a cute boy is a double win!

Dick Smith surprised me, too. I had heard that it wasn't doing too well in recent years, but I really thought it would hang in there. What other options are there, really? Harvey Norman and JB? Is that it?

I've had quite a few weeks fly by recently, too. It sort of bothers me, that feeling that life is passing me by.
