As I might have mentioned, I sometimes feel I have a ludicrously over active imagination. Sometimes it is a curse - when you are waiting for a phone call from your parents, and the phone call doesn't come, an active imagination is the last thing you really need.
But - for all the badness it sometimes brings in to my life - I think I am better off for it.
Even when it drives a horde of plot bunnies in to my head for no apparent reason.
Currently bouncing around in my head are :-
"The Infinity Chronicles"
A series of stories set in the virtual world of Disney cartoons. There are a number of offshoots of this - an extension of Jasper Fforde's "Jurisfiction" Chronicles (the Thursday Next stories), a different take on the "Once Upon A Time" scenario, or just a place where characters who get involved with Disney all hang out and interact.
The main plot arc is that Edmund Pevensie is found murdered, which leads to a whole series of stories about a "terrorist" group within The Magic Kingdom (the virtual Kingdom - not any of the Disney theme parks).
"From A Certain Point Of View"
The story of Harry Potter told from a point of view more sympathetic to The Death Eater side.
"Behind The Curtains"
A semi-cross over between Harry Potter and Twin Peaks, where one of the characters is consumed by The Black Lodge early in their life, and the entire Blood-Purity war is just a distraction to let The Black Lodge take the magical world.
"The Angels of Arven"
During the summer of Year 4 - after the end of The Tri-Wizard Tournament - Harry and Hermione are killed escaping Ministry custody.
and this is all without the list of stories I should be working on - Children of Fortune, MIB Series 2, The Ninth Floor Series 2, The Girl in The Cellar and so on and so on.
Maybe a Christmas holiday is what I need - stop thinking about writing and just think about chocolate and playing games :)
