What did you do in 2015 that you’ve never done before?
Started a business
Did you keep your New Years resolutions? and will you make any for next year?
I couldn’t remember making any for this year so I looked in my entries here and can’t find any. For next year I’d like to focus on my health. I will focus on yoga, walking and getting adequate water intake daily. I also want to learn to sew. I also would really like to be involved with something beyond myself or the immediate needs of my family. I want to be involved with something to do with the family of the world, such as joining a soup kitchen group, or joining a group of volunteers that helps refugees somehow.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes. My childhood friend S gave birth to her son three months ago. Although our friendship has gone through many changes in the 23 years I’ve known her, I think we’ve come to a place where we feel closer than we probably both thought we would. I think we’ve known each other for so long and we know so much about each other and that just keeps the friendship alive. I have absolutely loved watching her be Mother. She is doing it so well, so gracefully, so lovingly. And her little boy is SUCH a cutie!
Did anyone close to you die?
I am so blessed to be able to say No for an answer to this question.
What countries did you visit?
Ha! None. No travels this year.
What would you like in 2016 that you lacked in 2015?
I’m not sure I really lacked anything in 2015…
What was your biggest achievement for the year?
My biggest achievement was probably gaining work at the special school I’d been volunteering at in NSW. That was a GREAT feeling.
What was your biggest failure?
My biggest failure..... was probably leaving that place but that was not to be helped and I understand that.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
Thank God, no.
Where did most of your money go?
Most of our money this year went on life responsibilities. You know, mortgage, business, fuel. Ha.
What did you get really really really excited about?
I got really really really excited about moving home. It was pretty hard to be around the people who were sad to see us go.
What song will always remind you of 2015?
.... I have no idea. I suppose it will come to me in time. I know that there’s a host of songs that will remind me of this time in my life, though I may not be able to pinpoint it specifically to this year.
Compared to this time last year are you Happier/Sadder?
I’m not sure I’m happier or sadder. I mean I’m happy that we have moved home. I’m happy that things have generally gone our way but I’m also happy because I generally tend to choose happiness as often as I can.
Thinner/Fatter?
I am definitely fatter than I am this time last year!!! Photos are testament to that, as is the mirror!! Lol
Richer/Poorer
I think I am richer, just not in a monetary sense
What was your favourite TV program?
Not sure I had a favourite this year. I don’t really watch a whole lot of TV so having a “favourite” program is pretty hard for me, hahaha
What was the best book you read?
There were a few good books I read. The most recent one is Sybil by Flora Rita Schredier. It’s a book about a person living with dissociative identity disorder (aka personality disorder). While I’d read similar books before, this one has captivated me the most because of the time it was written in (a time where not a whole lot was yet known about this disorder).
What did you want and get?
I wanted to move home and I got that.
What did you want and not get?
I wanted to gain casual employment at the new school I’ve been volunteering at and I didn’t get that. However I will continue to volunteer my time there in an effort to get to know the staff and students. I have only just got to a point where staff look at me and recognise that I have been there before, so I’m not sure I want to start at square one elsewhere just yet. Besides, if I’m really good at what I do and dedicate myself really well, it may just keep me in the good books for next year :)
What was your favourite film of the year?
None particularly stand out.
What did you do on your Birthday, how old were you?
On my birthday I turned 31. I had a casual day at home (I think) and then a few days later I got together with friends at the Pumpyard and enjoyed some live music, great conversation and yummy food. Just what I wanted :) I am blessed!

What a very cool survey :) There seems to be a few old entries of yours that I completely missed. (I have a few Bookmarks that just write HEAPS every day, and block up my Bookmarks list).
I will also come back and catch up on all your entries lol.
I don't tend to READ so much on here anymore. Just don't have the time, as I imagine you don't either. But I do enjoy catching up on the entries :)
