Jetlag in Stuff

The weirdest thing about being back home is that my body still doesn’t think I am. I’ve now had three sleeps since being back, and my body still isn’t on track with sleeping at the right times, but the weirder thing is, I keep thinking I am anywhere but where I am.

I’m probably making no sense but it’s freaking me out. It takes a while to remember I’m back in my room in Brisbane, not in some hostel in Cologne or Berlin or a hotel in Paris or a hostel in London. Fucking weird how my brain seems to be trying to fool me and confusing the heck out of me.

I guess when I go back to work next week, I’ll get back to normal life and the daily grind.

I tried to stay awake as long as possible but ended up passing out around 4pm, and now I’m up at 1am again. Ergh.

It usually takes a week to adjust but you will get there. Jetlag is always worse when you get back to your home country because you will be suffering holiday withdrawal as well. This time next week you'll be fine :)
