That song is So Me in Days of My Destiny

I’m turning 31 tomorrow. I dropped the girls off at kindy and school today, then I came home and swept and mopped the floors. A friend of mine is coming to see me and I at least want the floors to be clean.

On the radio on the way home I heard a song. It said something like, “I want to go out but I want to stay home”. It’s a song that compares the songwriter to somebody else, and that the Somebody Else is always up for anything, eager to please, whereas the author of the song wears her heart on her sleeve and struggles to pick her brain up off the floor. My ears were glued to the stereo, I mean that song is so me! I’m 31 tomorrow and that song is so me. Lol.
