I have a situation that I wonder if I should do something about it or I should forget it. I have over the years acquired several good service people to call whenever I need them. My plumber took over his Fathers job and is a very good plumber. Whenever I call him he is at my door within 24 hours, fixes what needs to be fixed and leaves. However, He has not given me a bill for the past 2 years. Last month The outdoor(underground) pipes for the laundry room decided to stop working and I had water all over my laundry room floor. Jeff came out and spent all day trying to clean out those pipes. He thought he had taken care of them but he was wrong and the next time I did my washing the pipes over-flowed again. I called him again and he brought in another plumber and the two of them got the pipes cleaned out. Everything works fine now, but I received no bill for two days work. I asked Jeff what I owed him and he told me not to worry, Its being taken care of. Folks I have no idea who is paying for this. I thank them in my prayers. It bothers me that someone is paying for this and I have no idea who it is.
Should I just accept this lovely gift and for get about it?

A lot of family-owned businesses keep a fund to help out some of their good customers. It's usually a combination of funds set aside by the business itself, and pay-it-forward donations from other customers. It's a nice community gesture, and I'd recommend just accepting it.

This is a wonderful gift. Accept it with grace. Whoever is giving it to you is getting more out of it than you.

Someone is blessing you. And there are times that that person does not want to be acknowledged. I would do a pay it forward as gel says. Little things, big things. And to keep saying the prayers of thanks.
