Hoo boy, drama at the office!
And this time it wasn’t MINE, thank goodness. But my time will surely come around again soon.
So, as you may recall, my Best Bud works for my company (I got her in about a year ago after her dramatic dismissal at her last company). She has a leadership/top position in the company and there a a lot of “strong” personalities to contend with, trust me.
Anyway, I’d heard some rumblings about the timing of this and the details of that, and it appeared to some that perhaps Best Bud was withholding information when, in fact, all she was doing was her job.
In addition to my very own cast of characters (including Negative C and Cry Baby A), there are also people not ON my team but who many of us have to deal with and they are Brown Nosey and Eddie Haskell. Here-below are those two cast members:
Brown Nosey is one of my counterparts (there are three of us “business unit leaders”) and she’s a total fucking fat bitch with insecurity issues who has NO problem pushing anyone and everyone (including her own boss) under the buss in order to make herself look good.
Oh, and by the way, she has our CEO wrapped around her little finger for whatever reason.
And then there’s Eddie Haskell. Everyone in top management loooovvvveees her. She’s like a 30-year veteran at our company and is damn smart, and she plays up to the C-team because she wants to look like she has everything under her control. But she’s a raging lunatic BITCH CUNT to anyone who is either her peer or below her title. See? Eddie Haskell!
Most of the time.
The thing is, her behavior is so erratic that you never know if you’ll get the somewhat human/decent Eddie Haskell or the raging dickhead Eddie Haskell. Case in point, she has gone so far as to rip something from my hands and flailing it around just as I was explaining it - just like a baby having a temper tantrum would do. But she’s also helped me out of a pickle, working over the weekend to get some things done (all so she could prove she’s in control and take credit for the entire project)
And BestBud has tangled with both Brown Nosey and Eddie and they are on a rampage to bring her down.
Bottom line is, I have Best Bud’s back. But it’s getting ugly. She had an hour-long chat with HR today, and I bet they call me in for questioning tomorrow or sometime soon.
Ugh. I’m too tired to write it all down, but I may get some more out tomorrow. That’s the good thing about writing every day…there’s always tomorrow!
I didn’t hear a peep from SHIP today.
