Some good things. in life stuff and misc.

Though I feel like the good things are spiky and fleeting and don’t seem to turn into greater momentum… and I’d like to have a day job and I’d like to have a dating life with some nerdy woman or hippie lady… the spikes have been really great so just lemme delineate to remind myself.
A short film I wrote and co-directed took a prize in the Utica 48-Hour Film Festival a few months back. I killed it with my Andre The Giant stand-up at the best burlesque show north of New York City in Troy two months ago. I adventured the desert with my little brother looking for gems. I successfully organized a science-fiction poetry panel at the Fandemicon comic book convention, we had like 30 people listening to poems about DUNE and Goofy and Superman. I just took 2nd in the Utica Comedy Cup showcase for new comics in northern New York, won a hundred bucks and was humbled by the compliments of one of the best bad-guy wrestlers on the indie circuit.
I am doing some cool things. There is not always momentum but I am doing some cool things.
