Perception in Story of my life

Perception is ones own reality, even if that reality is a false reality, it is a reality non the less. For instance an adventure/vacation can put into perception a false reality of salvation to a new beginning but that perception can end with another that changes to something that never was. Perception of a lost love to the perception of a new resentment.
