Only half of it's here! in Stuff

Well that was a bit of unnecessary drama this morning.

I got my groceries delivered, on time, that was all good, although I was confused as to why the driver was only holding three bags in his tub. I’d ordered 30 items, where was the rest?

I assumed he was going to go back to his truck to get the rest, but nope, that’s all he had.
I said to him, “There should be more than that!”

He said that’s all there was, but told me to give him my number and he’d go deliver the rest of it and then come back around 11am if he found the rest of my groceries.
So I did that, and I went inside and crossed off what I had, in preparation for possibly having to ring Customer Service.

All of the cold items were missing, plus most of the fruit. I had probably been given half of what I’d ordered.

I got a text from the driver around midday, saying he couldn’t find them and to contact customer service.

So I did that, and read out what was missing. As I continued, the lady on the other end of the line was like, “Wow.”

I laughed, “Yeah…” and read off the rest.

She said because what was missing apparently added up to less than $50 (she’s probably right, I didn’t check), they can’t re-issue the order. Instead she is refunding me what was missing, plus giving me a $10 credit on my next order.

Oh well, that’s something. As long as I don’t keep getting credits because they only give me half of my orders :P

This is the first time this has happened, and I get these things happen. She said they must’ve left the other bags back at the store.

Lot of good that is! Now I ain’t got any healthy food for the week.

I’m going out tonight for Subway with Vish and James though, so that’ll cover me tonight. I don’t even like Subway that much anymore these days. But that’s where they want to go.

I’ll have to go down and just buy replacement food tomorrow.
