I just used the ‘tablecloth method’ to move my bedsheets from underneath all the crap on my bed (clothes, laptop etc) and my poor laptop went flying, hitting my wooden floor.
I silently wished to myself that it was okay, and I came back to my room to bite the bullet and see if it turned on.

I got it to turn on, but there is not a massive curve in the top left corner where the power cable plugs in. I noticed this because the power-cord was on a 45 degree angle lol. DOH!

It seems to have loaded up normally, but now I was worried that it won’t charge anymore, but it does! I now have to insert the power cable on the angle my laptop crashed to the floor in lol, but it charges!

I’m trying to press down on it to get it looking flush again, but to no avail. It did fly across my room pretty hard I guess. I don’t think whacking it against the floor in the other direction to even it out would be the wisest decision either.

Man this lappy has been through the wars I tell ya haha. Last year it copped a full cup of boiling hot tea all over it and I had to take it apart to try and soak it up the best I could, and it wouldn’t work for the longest time after that, but somehow, miraculously, one day it just started working again after I just left it for about a week upside down on an angle (in a vain hope it would air out and maybe drain any excess tea that had got into some components. I knew it was a long shot, but imagine my surprise when this thing started working again!

But now it’s damaged ergh. And I’m just holding hope I can keep charging it on the weird angle, but I am remaining real in the fact that it could one day just stop on me. I might get my friend James (Vish’s bf) to take a look at it. He’s helped me a lot with this damn thing haha.

DOH!
