It's a Good Life (Pics) Friday, January 23, 2009
Lily is now 3 months old. I can't believe how fast she is growing up! She is now a little over 12 pounds. There has been no signs of colic since Christmas. The last 4 nights she has gone to sleep by me just laying her in her crib. Small blessings.
I went to Circuit City and bought my Nikon that I have been wanting. I got a super deal on it and I have been taking pictures every chance I get. I just love it. It takes such nice pictures.
Life is so good to me right now. I joined OKCupid 3 years ago. I have never met any one from that website ever. However, it sent my profile to one of my ex boyfriends. He sent me an email and we have been talking. We dated 10 YEARS ago! I don't even remember why we broke up. He said he thinks it was because I was still in my party stage and wanted to just have fun still. This makes sense. I did go through a stage where I dated people for 2 or 3 months and broke up with them. I remember him very well. We met at Vavoline when I was 23. He was a worker there and the guy that took the information about what kind of oil and such asked for my phone number. Low and behold that guy gave my number to the guy under the hood of my car. That night I got a call. We dated a few months and never saw each other again. We talked on the phone the first time in ten years, last night. It was great! We laughed the whole time. He sounds the same. He said I did too. He's calling me again tonight... and we are going to go out someday soon. Not sure when. Both of our schedules are very busy. However, we'll make time.

She is beautiful! I am glad the colic ran it's course and you can just enjoy her now without the misery of having her feel like that...poor baby!
That's kinda cool about the ex-boyfriend! Have a good time; it's got to be a little less pressure than a first date, since you knew each-other before. [Mommy2Katie]
