Thank You Rain ~ Thank You ~ in Plan B

The heat was so intense it made going outside just plain dreadful. It beat down and it’s only June. Then the clouds came beautiful sweet clouds. I watched them closely. I didn’t want them to leave. They didn’t they stayed and down came the rain and washed the spider out ~ YEA! The kids and walked in it just as it was coming off the bay. You could see it pouring on the other side of the bay and it slowly came like a gray curtain of coolness. I was dressed in scrubs so I didn’t care. There like wearing bed sheets. Dry quick. We could actually go for a walk - walk and not die. Even Casie Marie has come to just doing what she has to then coming right back to the house. Can’t blame her. Romie on the other hand this heat is making his allergies flair up. The heat makes him itch like crazy. He is getting a bubbles tom.
My peeps are falling apart. Ugh. My one lady I haven’t heard anything yet so I guess that is good… Then the one I do everyday was heading to the hospital. She had blood in her cath. and plain just not feeling good. My VA guy has 5 appts. a week at the VA between chemo and radiation. Sometimes 2 - one in the morning and one later that late afternoon. Tom. I just have 1 and be home by noon. I should be use to this by now but it still leaves me feeling edgy. After all the crap I have been thru I won’t ever loose that feeling I don’t think. Just like Casie Marie and her food issues. Something you never get over. Ever. Keeps me motivated.
