39 Week Extreme Homemake-over Edition Wednesday, October 01, 2008
No baby on my birthday. She's stubborn and spoiled and I have NO idea where she gets it. Must be her father.
Now she will be an October baby. I am cool with that. The birthstone is pretty and girly. Just like her.
Ty Pennington is in town right now! He is doing an extreme home maker over for a family in town. How cool is that? On Friday, if I am not in labor, I shall be screaming "Move that bus!" How exciting. I went to sears today hoping he'd be in there buying stuff for the family. Alas, he was not there. Shucks.
I took the day off from work today to get things done. I got a lot done so far. Now I am taking a break and enjoying myself here on the library computer. Remember when the library was quiet? The librarian always shushing people? Yeah, it's not like that anymore. As a matter of fact it's quieter outside the library, than inside. Oh, these times are a changin'.
I went to the doctor today and she said that I was 1cm and starting to thin. I told her that's amazing because I am sure the baby is in there holding my uterous shut. She really wants to stay inside me forever. Strangly enough, I am not even too impatient. One day at a time, right? She'll be here when she's ready.
Other than that, I have the baby bag packed for the hospital. All the clothes and bedding are washed. Mostly everything is done. I don't think I am mentally ready for this baby though. I feel ready, but sometimes I get a rush of nervousness. I don't know. I won't know until she's here, I guess.
I hope all is well out there, in OD-land. I have got to get myself Internet again. This library crap sucks. It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't on a time limit. 30 minutes isn't enough time.
Ok, that's all you get. Watch for me on home maker! I'll be the big pregnant lady that goes into labor while screaming move that bus! LOL Just kidding. (I hope)

Yay for October birthdays! Both of my daughters were born in October :-)
You'll be a wonderful mother when she gets here. Being nervous is a very normal thing but you'll be just fine.

I was just wondering this afternoon if she'd arrived yet...no, huh? "When the apple is ripe, it will fall" is what my Mom always says. Wise woman! LOL
Good luck...you're going to do great!! [Mommy2Katie]

Yay for October birthdays! Opals are lovely, and it's the perfect time of year for outdoor parties in the afternoon that aren't too hot or too cold. I'm also biased because I'm an October baby. ;-)
Good luck and I hope all goes well! [Maelona] [p]

Extreme Makeover Home Edition came to the town next to me. I didn't watch them do it but I heard it was crowded! I like Ty. He's pretty cool. [prettylittlekitty]
